Free Books Available in Chatham

The Friends of the Library are pleased to announce that all remaining books from our Annual Book Sale will be donated to worthwhile organizations.  As we begin to pack up the remaining books we invite all to shop for FREE.  Please stop by the library, today, Wednesday, March 14th during regular Library hours.  Feel free to take any books to add to your collection.  Think of expanding your own library, or perhaps you have a vacation home, what a wonderful opportunity to provide reading materials for your guests!

On Wednesday and Thursday volunteers will be packing up books for the following organizations: Drive4Book; The Pediatric Wards in South Plainfield, Newark, Mountainside and others; Passaic High School; and The College Women of Summit.  By donating these books, our charitable organization can help other charitable organizations and save unwanted books from landfills.

The Friends of the Library would like to thank all who have so generously donated their unwanted books; by doing so you not only benefit our Library and community, but so many others as well.  We look forward to your future donations and your continued support.
