Voices of Christmas 2013

On December 13 at 8pm,  eighty unique, multi generational and talented singers will join with the Lyrica Chamber Orchestra to present “Voices of Christmas 2013,” a concert featuring Christmas-inspired works and carols from from cultures all over the world.  Collaborating with co-sponsors Lyrica and the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township Chancel Choir are the Summit High School Chamber Choir, vocalists from Drew University’s Madrigal Singers and the Chancel Choir from Morrow Memorial Methodist Church in Maplewood, NJ.  The concert will be held on the Drew University campus, at the Dorothy Young Center for the Arts, Madison, NJ.

The evening program will feature carol arrangements from Mack Wilberg and John Rutter; new choral works from Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre and Dan Forrest; traditional carols from the African-American, Nigerian and Mexican traditions - all conducted by Adam Waite, Holland Jancaitis, Wayne Mallette and Janice Williams.
