Texas singer/songwriter Slaid Cleaves, at The Sanctuary Concerts $25

The
Sanctuary Concerts, the premier acoustic-music venue in suburban New Jersey, is
delighted to present Americana singer/songwriter Slaid Cleaves and his
band.  Slaid combines rootsy rowdiness
with gothic twang, creating a one-of-a-kind folk-country style inspired by his
musical heroes Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, the Everly Brothers, and Woody
Guthrie. As Slaid fan Stephen King put it:
"I’m glad I found Slaid Cleaves, because my life would have been

poorer without him. You’ll feel the same, I think.  So, go to one of Slaid’s shows, take a
friend, and pass on the news: not all the good guys wear hats."

Special
guests The Stray Birds are a young trio from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,
who have taken their love of traditional Americana music and their gorgeous
three-part harmonies to festivals and theaters across the country, including
feature sets this summer at the Philadelphia and Falcon Ridge Folk Festivals.

As
always, refreshments are included in the price of admission and there is plenty
of free parking.
