The curriculum at Little Angels School House is well-rounded, academically focused and designed to build foundations during a child’s formative years. The creative curriculum starts from infancy; we introduce our little angels to music, poetry, stories, colors, numbers, letters, shapes, gym & movement, hands-on activities (i.e. Jell-O, pudding and shaving cream). We repeatedly familiarize them with exercises and games that will enhance gross and fine motor skills (i.e. hand-eye coordination, rolling, crawling, and walking). The toddler-core curriculum builds on concepts taught during birth with increased focus on expanding their developing vocabulary and motor skills. It also introduces potty training exercises, handwriting and focuses on developing promising social skills.

After successful mastery of the infant and toddler curriculum, the children matriculate into our pre-school program. In the pre-school program we continue working on the alphabet and numbers with focus on writing, counting, addition, subtraction, phonetics and help master potty training. At this stage, our little angels are eager to put everything they have learned together and begin to read. Our pre-school program offers daily enrichment activities including Art, Language (Spanish and Italian), Music and Science, which are taught by a specialist in that subject. Like our infant and toddler programs, the pre-school program is based in a setting that allows us to focus on the individual needs and learning opportunities of the children in order to customize curriculum as needed.
