Lecture on George Washington's Encampment in Morristown at a joint meeting of the Chatham Township and Chatham Borough Historical Societies

The joint meeting of the Historical Societies of Chatham Township and Chatham Borough will be held on Sunday March 2nd at 2 P.M. in Mulford Hall at the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township. The speaker will be Rob Shenk, the Vice President for New Media at George Washington's Mount Vernon. Mr. Shenk is an avid historian who has dedicated himself to the task of bringing great stories of our past to life by engaging digital presentations. Mr. Shenk will talk about George Washington and the breath and range of issues that Washington was tackling during the 1779/1780 winter encampment in Morristown. This program is open to the public (no admission fee) and refreshments will be served.
