LECTURE: A PERSONAL ROAD TO ACCEPTANCE, presented by Douglas Baum, LCSW

On Wed, July 30th at 7:45 pm, the Depression and
Bipolar Support Alliance
(DBSA) Morristown Area continues its
educational lecture series with A PERSONAL ROAD
TO ACCEPTANCE,

presented by Douglas Baum, LCSW.  Douglas
Baum will discuss individuals’ struggles upon receiving diagnoses of serious
conditions and how acceptance of such diagnoses is an essential step in the
road to treatment and recovery.  Mr. Baum
specializes in treating Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder, as well as treating family concerns & relationship
problems. He has over 25 yrs of experience providing individual and couples
therapy of adults and individual therapy of adolescents and currently practices
in Parsippany.



     The
public is invited to attend all of the DBSA
Morristown Area educational lectures, which
focus on topics related to mood disorders, and are held on the last *Wednesday
evening of every month at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship.  A nominal
donation of $4/person is requested of non-members. Free literature and a
lending library of audiotapes, CD’s and DVD’s are available to attendees.      



        In addition, the DBSA
Morristown
Area
holds weekly peer support
sessions
—adult and young adult groups-- led by experienced facilitators on
*Tuesdays at 7:30-9:00 pm at the same location. Family and friends are always
welcome.
