On Sunday, Sept. 15th the Chatham Area Artisans Guild will host the 1st Annual Chatham Area FINE Arts & Crafts Festival. This upscale-juried event takes place outdoors at the Chatham Boro Train Station from 10-5PM located on 30 Fairmont Ave, Chatham Boro, NJ.
This festival will feature over 100 talented artisans and crafters displaying and selling their unique creations in pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, home décor, furniture and home accessories, items for the garden, photography, handmade fashion and accessories, statement jewelry and fine art.
Along with the exhibitors the event will offer a variety of delicious foods being sold, a free concert and many sponsor giveaways. The children will be treated to fun booth featuring FREE “hands on” art projects with a fall theme hosted by our event sponsor, Macaroni Kid. The kids will be able to display their masterpieces while they walk around the festival or they can take it with them. So plan to spend a good part of the day walking around shopping and enjoying the activities.
The Chatham Area Artisans Guild, hosts of this event and represents local area artists and artisans with full time business in the applied arts and crafts. Their members include painters, furniture makers, textile designers, metal workers, and cabinetmakers.
These established Chatham area professional craftsmen and artists seek to improve their business by leveraging the resources and talents of the group. The guild will seek to promote community awareness of the organization and the talents, skills and products offered by the individual businesses.
