Adult Bible Study of the Acts of the Apostles - All Are Welcome

Starting
April 24 and
continuing through June 5, you are invited to a special Bible Study for the
season of Easter: “Wondering and
Wandering: The Once and Future Church.”  The Bible study will be led by the Rev. Dr. Christa M. Compton, Pastor of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.  It will be held in Fellowship Hall.

You do not need to be a member of Gloria Dei or have a Lutheran background to enjoy this bible study.   Pastor Christa is a gifted teacher and has a wonderful sense of humor and love of scripture.  

The focus will be on readings from the Book of Acts.   Please join us as we explore the life of the disciples after the resurrection of Jesus. Pastor Christa is a former high school English teacher and a student of philosophy and theology.  She holds a Phd in philosophy from the Stanford School of Education.  She recently earned a Masters in Divinity at the Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and was recently ordained as a Pastor in the ELCA.
