Drug Fair May Be Subdivided, CHS Parking Shortage Concerns Top Local News

Neil Richards, the real estate agent leasing the empty Drug Fair storefront in the Chatham Mall, confirmed that two separate businesses are interested in leasing portions of the storefront. "We're in the process of subdividing the Drug Fair space," Richards said.

Students who register for kindergarten at Washington Avenue School will be sent to Southern Boulevard School, where the Board of Education added a fifth section of kindergarten for the year. Milton Avenue School still has room in their kindergarten class.

A 21-year-old Chatham bicyclist was issued a summons and transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries after he ignored a stop sign and was struck by a vehicle last week at the intersection of Floral Street and School Avenue, said.
