Each Monday we welcome you back to the work week with a look at what to expect in the Chathams. From content you'll find on Patch as the week goes on to community activities, here's what you need to know this week:

1. You need to know about the Chatham Borough Council: Further discussion of the for development in has been tabled to September. But the council will hear reports on , including the results of the sidewalk survey and crosswalk safety as residents prepare to send their kids back to school when they meet Monday night. Check Chatham Patch for coverage of the meeting.

2. You need to know about young adult movies: will screen "Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life" at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The film stars Maxwell Beer, Ryan Simpkins, Mira Sorvino and Joe Pantoliano in the story of two friends who search the streets of Manhattan for clues to unlock the mysterious box.

3. You need to know about healthy snacking: in Chatham Township will host a of their store at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Dietician Jessica Hermansky will take registered participants on a tour of the store and give snacking ideas for packing those back-to-school lunches or for people who just want to give their usual snacks a jolt. 4. You need to know about parking at Colony Pool: PSE&G will appear at the Committee meeting Thursday to give a presentation on their Northern Central Reliability Project and the direct impact it will have in Chatham. in the gravel lot at , which is usually used as an overflow lot for parking at . Mayor Nicole Hagner and school Superintendent Michael LaSusa are working with PSE&G to possibly find an alternative parking arrangement. Residents can come to the meeting and directly question PSE&G representatives about how the project will impact their lives.

5. You need to know about tomatoes: It's that time of year again! Time for the at the Chatham Borough Farmers Market. Show up at the market to taste all this year's entries and vote for the most delicious tomato at the market.
