Township Roads Open for Traffic

The intersection of River Road at Southern Boulevard is still impassable, but at least one lane of traffic is open on other township streets, according to officials.

Chatham Township officials announced in a statement Friday that all township roads are now passable for motor vehicle traffic, with the exception of River Roard at Southern Boulevard.

Drivers were urged to use caution since man roads still have limbs down, which may partially block some roads.

Township police also said the Summit Exxon station on River Road is open and serving customers.
