UPDATE: Power Restored in Chathams

Power outage affected about 200 residents Tuesday.

Residents of Chatham Borough and Chatham Township had their power restored by 7 p.m. Tuesday after being without electricity since about 2 p.m.

Affected areas include Lafayette Avenue north of Shunpike Road and include Floral Street and Maple Street. Chatham High School was also affected.

According to an outage map the JCP&L website, 183 residents in Chatham Township reported a power outage by 4:45 p.m. A further 22 customers in Chatham Borough are also without power, with customers in Millburn, Summit, Florham Park and Springfield also affected.
