Tournaments, Stories and Biking to Work

And other essential information for Friday, May 20, 2011.

Think you know everything about the Chathams? Then maybe you already know about the Five Things You Need to Know Today. But just to be sure, here they are:

  1. You need to know about story time: The Library of the Chathams offers two chances for kids to come listen to stories read aloud, once at 10 a.m. and once at 1:30 p.m.
  2. You need to know about preventing hearing loss: The Senior Center of the Chathams is offering a seminar on at noon.
  3. You need to know about track: The boys and girls track teams compete in the Morris County Tournaments Friday.
  4. You need to know about the class of 2011: The seniors from Chatham High School have can gather for the Senior Slide Show Friday at 1:40 p.m. in the auditorium.
  5. You need to know about biking to work: May 20 is National Bike to Work Day, and if you choose to participate, watch out for the predicted rain.
