Snow, Scrimmages and School Budgets

And all the other essential information to get you through your Tuesday.

After snow and fog descended on Chatham Monday, you might be wondering about what the weather has in store for Tuesday. While temperatures during the day should get up to the low 50s, according to the National Weather Service, there's another half inch of snow expected Tuesday night.

There are five other things you need to know about Tuesday as well:

  1. You need to know where to see spring sport teams: The varsity baseball team scrimmages today against Ridge High at Chatham High School at 4 p.m.
  2. You need to know about the library board: The board of the Library of the Chathams meets tonight at 7:30 p.m.
  3. You need to know about recycling: The Tanglewood Lane Recycling Center is open to township residents from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  4. You need to know about the budget: The Budget Advisory Committee of the School District of the Chathams meets tonight at the Chatham Township Municipal Building at 7 p.m.
  5. You need to know about being young at heart: Today is As Young As You Feel Day (really, we checked!) So take some time to enjoy some of the simple pleasures that the world has to offer today. And maybe wear your hair in pigtails.
