No Taxes, but DNA Instead

And other things you need to know for April 15, 2011.

Middle school aged students can get their weekend started by playing Wii at the library Friday afternoon. To find out more, check out the Five Things You Need to Know Today:

  1. You need to know about taxes: They are not due today! Taxes are due Monday, April 18 and must be posted by that day.
  2. You need to know about Mock Trial: The team meets at the Chatham Townshp Municipal Building at 9 a.m.
  3. You need to know about Wii: Middle School aged children can play Wii games at the Library of the Chathams between 3 and 5 p.m.
  4. You need to know where to buy baked goods: The Philosophy Club at Chatham High School is holding a bake sale at 2:35 p.m. at the school.
  5. You need to know about DNA: Well let’s face it, since you’re not paying your taxes today you are probably in need of a good holiday, so why not take your cues from the National Human Genome Research Institute and celebrate April 15 as DNA Day? The NHGRI is hosting an online chat room for students to submit questions and get answers from the experts.
