No Change in Borough Administrator's Condition

Police say it's a 'good sign,' based on the trauma from Monday's motorcycle accident.

Borough Administrator Robert Falzarano remains in the Intensive Care Unit of Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark.

Lt. Brian Gibbons said there has been "no change" in Falzarano's condition. "He's still in intensive care, in critical condition," Gibbons said.

Falzarano and his brother George, both of Long Hill Township, were in Lonoke, Ark. The accident claimed the life of Charles Dziedzic, the deputy director of the .

The three men traveled cross country by motorcycle and were on their way back to New Jersey at the time of the accident. According to Arkansas State Police, all three men were wearing their helmets.

Gibbons said when it comes to serious accidents such as this one, "the first 24 to 48 hours ... are the most critical. The fact that he's is still alive at this point is a very good sign."

Falzarano was airlifted to the hospital after the accident. He underwent surgery and Gibbons said he is unconcious and possibly sedated. His family is with him. 

George Falzarano's injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening. He was taken to the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Hospital.
