There's always something you need to know in Chatham, and each day, we bring you five of them. So keep on reading for the Five Things You Need to Know for Friday, March 18:

  1. You need to know about free books at the library: The Friends of the Library are now offering free books from the book sale! Just go to the basement during business hours.
  2. You need to know about : The teen space at Ogden Memorial Presbyterian Church hosts live music tonight from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  3. You need to know about art: meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Chatham Township Municipal Building.
  4. You need to know about Cougar Field: The issue of lights at Cougar Field has been postponed to another date. The matter will be heard in Morristown.
  5. You need to know about Awkward Moments Day: Today is officially the day when it’s okay to embrace all your awkward moments, whether they stem from that awful hairdo you had in the ‘80s, or from last week. It happens to all of us. Learn it, embrace it, and share it!
