It's Back: Snow Expected to Make a Return

3 to 6 inches possible before mixing with sleet.

Sunny skies and mild temperatures may have caused some to forget about the record snowfall that blanketed the state last month.

But a reminder that it's still winter is expected to be on the way.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through Monday at noon with 3 to 6 inches possible.

The snow is expected to begin after midnight before mixing with sleet after daybreak, according to the National Weather Service.

After a high of around 40 degrees on Monday, about 1 to 2 inches of additional snow is expected Monday into Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.
