Holidays and Other Things to Cheer in the Chathams

Think you missed anything in the past week?

It was a busy week leading up to Christmas in the Chathams.  From school board news to Santa's visit, there was a lot happening in town.  In case you think you may have missed any of the news (perhaps because you were busy shopping), here is the week in review:

On Monday, we reported how Superintendent Jim O'Neill said Gov. Chris Christie had "gone too far" in recent attacks on Chatham. "I have no intention of being silent when he makes outlandish, untrue statements about the school district or me personally," O'Neill told Chatham Patch.  To read more about the issue between the governor and the School Board, click .

Finally, on Friday we bought you good tidings and reported on Santa's special visit to town.  Santa Claus took time from his busy schedule to visit with a large crowd of boys and girls from Chatham Borough Friday afternoon at Reasoner Park.  Click to check out the video of his visit.
