Got the Cablevision Blues? Here Are Your Oscar Options
You can watch online, or you can go to a bar.
Cablevision customers know very well by now of the dispute between ABC and Cablevision that has caused ABC to pull its feed from the cable company's users. It's starting to look more and more like the Oscars, for such customers, won't be on television tonight.
But don't fret. Here are some options if you're a Cablevision customer:
- The Associated Press has a live stream of the show at www.livestream.com/aplive. The Oscars can be seen on the site.
- The Towne Tavern has televisions that can carry the show. The bar is located at 34 River Road.
- E! Online has Oscar-related news available here.
