Fantastic Fun at High School Fashion Show

Over 900 people attended the fundraiser.

Over 900 people attended the Chatham High School Fashion Show on Friday night, and those who were at the event said it went over extremely well.

"A buzz filled the air with an amazing display of community spirit and talent," Kathryn Rogers wrote in an email this morning. Organizer Jane Maltby was similarly pleased, saying "the fashion show was a huge success."

The show is the only fundraiser the PTO does during the year, and Maltby said it raised a siginificant amount of money at the annual event.

"The student models were incredibly entertaining, with personality and zeal for their futures evident in each step down the catwalk," Rogers said. "The senior guys and gals looked beautiful, and were charming and confident."

A variety of community organizations and businesses donated food and other goods to the event. Community bakers provided refreshments, and other donors throughout the area gave over different goods for an auction and raffle.
