Downed Wires Cause Outages in Township

JCP&L is on the scene.

Power lines along Fairmount Avenue went down Wednesday during the rain storm, causing sporadic outages in Chatham Township.

Workmen from Jersey Central Power and Light (JCP&L), along with the , were on the scene near the intersection of Fairmount Avenue and Runnymede Road.

According to JCP&L employees, power could be restored as soon as 3 p.m.
