Administrator's Status Stable, But Serious

Robert Falzarano was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Arkansas.

Lt. Brian Gibbons said Robert Falzarano, the borough's administrator, remains under intensive care in "stable but serious condition" in an Arkansas hospital.

Falzarano was outside Little Rock, Ark. The accident claimed the life of Charles Dziedzic, the deputy director of the .

According to Gibbons, Falzarano was stabilized at the scene of the crash before being airlifted to Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. He underwent surgery and his family is with him.

Falzarano's brother, George, was also injured in the crash. His injuries, Gibbons said, are not life-threatening. He was taken to the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Hospital.

The three men were returning from a cross-country motorcycle trip when the accident occurred.

Robert Falzarano has been 's administrator since Aug. 1, 2001. Prior to that, he served 27 years in the Long Hill Township Police Department, including 15 years as police chief.

Both Falzarano brothers are residents of Long Hill Township.
