Everything you need to know to get you through your day.

If you are single, the only redeeming thing about Valentine's Day is that it falls on a Monday this year. But you probably did not know that there is a holiday for you, too! That is where Chatham Patch comes in, providing you with all the information you need to get you through your day:

  1. You need to know about fencing: The Chatham High School fencing team takes on Hackettstown at home, starting at 6 p.m.
  2. You need to know about Valentines: Students at can pick up their Valentine Sonnets during lunch and after school in the main lobby.
  3. You need to know about recycling batteries: You can drop off batteries at the anytime, and bring all other recycleable materials to the recycling depot tomorrow between 9 a.m. and noon.
  4. You need to know about the movies: has its Movie Night today, where they will show "Despicable Me" to students, families and guests at both 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  5. You need to know that there's a holiday for single people, too: Friday is Satisfied Staying Singles Day, the perfect chance to take yourself to dinner, to the movies, or to your favorite activity, and enjoy it on your own, just because you deserve it.

Editor's Note: The Recycling Depot has only two days in the year where electronics can be recycled. The next date is June 3. A previous version of this article stated that electronics could be recycled at the depot this weekend.
