  1. You need to know about nature hikes: The Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center is offering a hike for Nature’s Little Explorers today at 9:45 a.m.
  2. You need to know about scrimmages for the sports teams: The scrimmages scheduled for Thursday have been canceled due to the weather.
  3. You need to know music for kids: Carolyn Dempsey will play three children’s concerts today at the Library of the Chathams at 10 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  4. You need to know about taxes: The Chatham Township Committee will vote on the Open Space Tax tonight during their 7:30 p.m. meeting at the Chatham Township Municipal Building.
  5. You need to know about Tuberculosis: Yes, there actually is a World Tuberculosis Day, and Chatham Patch could not let you go through one day longer without knowing about it. Though if you were hoping for something a little more cheery, today is also National Chocolate Covered Raisins Day!
