Our local friends have a 3 year old daughter, Phoebe. She was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic blood disorder. It is incurable, but with help she will be able to live.
The lymphemia is so rare that insurance will not cover the costs of diagnosis and treatment which is already in the tens of thousands. On top of that, the family has 3 other school aged children and they have to travel across the USA each week to see different specialists, all at their own expense. And the money is running out!
