2001 La Rioja Alta Vina Ardanza Reserva Tasting at the Bottle King of Chatham, NJ

Stop by our store Saturday, 2/25 from 12-2pm, to sample some 2001 La Rioja Alta Vina Ardanza Reserva. Without a doubt, Rioja is the leading wine producing region of Spain and there have been two dynamite vintages in the past ten years: 2001 & 2004. The La Rioja Alta Vina Ardanza Reserva 2001 has just been released after spending five years in barrel and five more years in bottle.

"The current release is the 2001 Reserva Especial, a deeply colored wine with a lovely perfume of cinnamon, lavender, incense, balsamic, and black cherry. Medium-bodied, velvety-textured, and already complex, it will continue to evolve for another 5-10 years and offer a drinking window extending from 2016 to 2036." The Wine Advocate, 94 Points
