Bloomers Chatham's Newest Favorite Florist

Though only opened the doors of their new Main Street storefront Thursday, the wasted no time warming their way into the hearts of Chatham residents.

This week, our Readers' Choice column asked residents to pick their favorite florist. With 40 out of the 83 votes cast, Bloomers came out the winner of .

Owner Aggie Garibaldi opened Bloomers out of her home in 1998. Besides bouquets and vases, Bloomers also offers complete event planning and coordination, including table settings and linen rentals. They also have a corner to sell jewelry and other gifts.

Also getting honorable mention is , another Main Street florist. Sunnywoods is one of the oldest flower businesses in town and have been in business since 1909. Besides gifts and bouquets, they also do wedding arrangements, sympathy flowers, wreaths and corsages. Sunnywoods garnered 33 out of 83 votes cast in our poll.
