Twenty new staff members will be at Chatham High School when classes start Monday, including six new English teachers and a retired Chatham Borough police sergeant who is the building's safety coordinator.
Security personnel for each school were approved by the Board of Education last month in connection with a ballot question approved by voters in April.
The district also is offering new Chinese, marketing and digital literacy courses this year.
