The presents John McEuen, the founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, at the Saturday at 8 p.m.
McEuen formed the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band with a friend who worked with him in a magic store in California. Forty-five years later, McEuen continues to add to his performing experience, with over 8,500 live concerts and 300 television shows both with the band and as a solo performer.

Though McEuen will be performing solo, he will perform songs by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on his guitar, banjo, fiddle and mandolin.

Gambetta's skill on the guitar have earned him the title of "the Italian King of the flatpick guitar" from The Daily Times. The Washington Post said his playing sounds like "a duet between Doc Watson and Leo Kottke."
Scott Sheldon, the head of the Sanctuary Concert Series, said McEuen and Gambetta "together [...] will provide an evening of high spirits, hot picking and lush facial hair."
