'The Power of Art' at the Senior Center of the Chathams

The Senior Center of the Chathams will screen a series of DVD’s beginning Monday, Sept. 12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The series entitled “The Power of Art” is presented by renowned art historian Simon Schama.

He explores the power and passion of art, examining eight of history's most influential works. Follow the progression of artistic vision through the ages, from 17th century Europe to 1950s New York, with historical reenactments and Schama's trademark storytelling.
