The New Jersey We Love!

Photographer is Featured During Fishawack Festival

            AREA – New Jersey author and photographer Walter Choroszewski will present a colorful slide show and talk celebrating 'The NEW JERSEY We Love!" at the Library of The Chathams, 214 Main Street, Chatham, on Saturday, June 12, at 2 p.m., during Chatham's Fishawack Festival.  Creator of Aesthetic Press in 1985, to publish regional books and calendars, he has photographed and produced 17 books and numerous calendars. 

            Choroszewski was raised in northeastern Pennsylvania and graduated from Pennsylvania State University.  He moved to New York City where his career in environmental education led him to his present work in photography.  In 1980, he was commissioned to photograph the State of New Jersey for a book project.  "New Jersey, A Scenic Discovery," published in 1981, launched his career as a New Jersey photographer.  Moving to New Jersey in 1985, his photos became the inspiration for the New Jersey State tourism campaign:  'New Jersey & You…Perfect Together!"  The primary photographer for the NJ tourism campaign through the 80's and 90's, he continues to provide the State with photos today.
