The Masterwork Chorus begins its 2011-2012 season rehearsals at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the New Jersey Youth Symphony facility, 570 Central Avenue, New Providence, NJ. Prospective members are invited to attend this first rehearsal, during which auditions may be arranged with Music Director Andrew Megill for the evening of Thursday, September 8, at the same location. Experienced choral singers with strong vocal and sight-reading skills are encouraged to audition.
Masterwork is a friendly 100-voice chorus in its 57thyear. We generally perform at least 3 concerts in a year. This year’s Messiah performances will be our 246th and 247th and include our annual appearance at Carnegie Hall.
