NJ Peace Action to Visit Work Family Connection at Milton on MLK Day

Members from the NJ Peace Action, part of the National Peace Action Network, will be visiting the Work Family Connection at Chatham's Milton Avenue School on Martin
Luther King Day. Founded in 1957, Peace Action is the nation's largest grass roots organization. The Bloomfield Chapter will be visiting the Work Family Connection children to honor and remember the peaceful teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King.

The visit will include a guitarist who will sing and teach songs about friendship and peace to the children, and a reader who will share age appropriate picture books about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King. In addition, a hands on visual lesson focusing on acceptance and diversity will be presented to the children.

The Work Family Connection operates on school grounds for the convenience of families, include Before and After School Programs, Extended Day Kindergarten, Vacation/Holiday, and Summer Camps. Our programs are licensed by the State of NJ and employ qualified, nurturing staff. ”Programs are educational and recreational in nature, providing extended learning opportunities while the
students are having FUN!
