Karla Bonoff

The Sanctuary Concerts, the premier acoustic-music venue in suburban New Jersey, is delighted to present legendary
songwriter Karla Bonoff, whom Billboard Magazine called "one of the finest singer-songwriters of her generation, with many of her ballads having become classics of American pop songwriting in the second half of the century.”

Karla's hits, recorded on Columbia Records, include: "If He's Ever Near", "I Can't Hold On," "Lose Again," "Home," "Isn't It Always Love," "Baby Don't Go," "Someone to Lay Down Beside Me," “Personally," "Like a Falling Star," and "All My Life." She has recorded 15 albums and won a GRAMMY® in1990 as the author of Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville’s duet version of her song "All My Life." Her songs have been covered by Linda Ronstadt and Bonnie Raitt, as well as other national recording artists.

Karla's special guest is master songwriter David Olney, called “the Leonard Cohen of the Americana movement.”  His "exuberant" stage shows have been described as "part Baptist preacher, part caustic comedian, and part existential bluesman."
