An exhibit of extraordinary botanical photographs by artist, Jonathan Singer will take place at Legends Gallery in Chatham NJ starting on Friday night at 7:00 PM May 14th, 2010 thru June 4th 2010
In just six short years Dr. Singer has gone from foot surgeon, to graffiti photographer, to one of the most important botanical photographers of our time. His accomplishments are many, and praise of his work is impressive, vast, international in scope, and all worthy of this artist's tireless effort to bring forth the most magnificent photographs of the plant and flora world. Most notable is his appointment as a research Collaborator at the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution in 2008.
Dr. Singer is the author of Botanica Magnifica, a 356-page book of stunning photographs of rare and exotic flowers and plants. Published by Abbeville Press in 2009.
