Family Fun Day

Billed by one local mom as “the greatest bargain,” the third annual Family Fun Day will feature carnival-style games, Circle Time Live musical entertainment, roving clowns, moon bounces, face painting and more on Nov. 12, 2011, at the Hanover Recreation Center, 15 North Jefferson Road in Whippany, from 11am to 3pm.

The family event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and Kids4Kids, the Youth Philanthropy Committee of Morristown Memorial Health Foundation. The cost is $10 per child, and proceeds will fund the beading therapy program for the inpatient unit at Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center.

Kids4Kids is comprised of 20 local families who collect toys for Goryeb Children’s Hospital patients, stock comfort cart items, such as shampoo and soap for patient families, and hold fundraisers for specific projects. Most recently, Kids4Kids funded the replacement of television sets in the inpatient and pediatric intensive care unit at the children’s hospital. The ages of committee members range from 10 to 18.
