Fabricland's Halloween Costume Contest

Fabricland , the state’s largest fabric store located  at 855 Route 22 West  in North Plainfield is pleased to present the annual New Jersey Creative Halloween  Costume  Contest and Parade  on Saturday morning, October 27th  at 10 a.m. - rain or shine.  This year, more than $1,000 in gift certificate prizes will be awarded to winners in every age group including infants to preschool, kindergarten to 2nd grade, 3rd grade to 8th grade, high school, adults and a special family group category.   In addition, $500 will be given out in honorable mention awards and everyone attending will receive a candy ‘goodie bag”. 

In order to participate in the contest, you may enter with an original hand or machine-stitched design, an exact pattern or any variations or combinations of patterns using fabrics and materials from any local fabric store in New Jersey.  Ready-made costumes, however, are not eligible.  There is no advance registration necessary – but to enter the contest, you must fill out the entry form, attach fabric receipts and arrive at Fabricland by 9:45 to check in.   Visit www.fabricland.com to obtain an entry form or call 908-755-4700 for more information.
