Dave Mason and the Dave Mason Band
FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH
40 South Fullerton Avenue
Montclair, NJ 07042
In March of 1967 legendary British rockers Dave Mason and Steve Winwood left the Spencer Davis Group and formed Traffic with Mason, Capaldi, and flautist Chris Wood. The rest, as they say, is history. In the subsequent years Dave has nurtured a solo career which includes 1977's mega-hit "We Just Disagree" as well as performing on a number of albums such as The Rolling Stones' Beggars's Banquet, George Harrison's All Things Must Pass, Paul McCartney's Listen To What The Man Said and Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland. One of the songs from the Ladyland album, "All Along the Watchtower," features Dave playing acoustic guitar. The past decade Mason has crisscrossed America, performing about 100 concerts a year to an enthusiastic fan base. In 2008 Dave released 26 Letters 12 Notes (his first album in 20 years) to rave reviews. Is there a new album in the works? Be on hand February 18 and find out!
