Chatham Students Kick Off Winter Concerts

From elementary school students to high schoolers, 'tis the season for Chatham's music students to strut their stuff.

Families within the Chathams will know the holidays are here by the bevy of holiday concerts within the School District of the Chathams, which kick off at 7:30 p.m. Monday with the Chatham High School choral concert at the Chatham High auditorium.

The winter concert provide students with the chance to show off their talents and what they have learned thus far this year.

The winter concert schedule for the School District of the Chathams is:

  • Dec. 3: Chatham High Choral Concert, 7:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 4: Milton Avenue School First grade concert, 9 a.m.
  • Dec. 4: Chatham Middle School seventh and eighth grade bands and jazz band concert, 7:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 5: Milton Avenue second grade concert, 9 a.m.
  • Dec. 6: Milton Avenue third grade concert, 9 a.m.
  • Dec. 11: Washington Avenue School first grade concert, 9 a.m.
  • Dec. 11: Chatham Middle School sixth grade concert, 7:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 12: Washington Avenue second grade concert, 9 a.m.
  • Dec. 13: Washington Avenue third grade concert, 9 a.m.
  • Dec. 17: Chatham Middle seventh and eighth grade chorus and orchestra concert, 7:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 18: Lafayette Avenue School 5th grade concert 1:30 & 7 p.m.
  • Dec. 19: Southern Boulevard School 1st grade concert, 10:30 a.m.
  • Dec. 19: Lafayette Avenue fourth grade concert, 1:30 & 7 p.m
  • Dec. 20: Southern Boulevard second grade concert, 10:30 a.m.
  • Dec. 20: Southern Boulevard third grade concert, 1:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 21: Chatham High performances at Chatham Middle/Lafayette Avenue, 9:30 & 10:50 a.m.
  • Jan. 9: Chatham High Band concert, 7:30 p.m.
  • Jan. 11: Southern Boulevard third grade strings concert & breakfast, 9:15 a.m.
  • Jan. 14: Chatham High orchestra concert, 7:30 p.m.
  • Jan. 15: Milton Avenue third grade strings concert, 6:30 p.m.
