Chatham High School Student Ria Iizuka Wins Fishawack Poster Contest

Judges lauded the 'colorful depiction of the gazebo area.'

Chatham High School student Ria Iizuka has won the 2010 Fishawack Festival Poster Contest.

The Fishawack Committee, for the first time, had a poster contest for this year's festival.  It was open to any high school student, and students were allowed to use any print medium to design their poster. Over a dozen entries were received and Iizuka's was chosen.

According to the Fishawack Committee, "this colorful depiction of the gazebo area fits perfectly with the downtown location of the festival.  The gazebo is the centerpiece of the entertainment portion of the festival."
