VIDEO: Aftermath of a Hurricane

A look around Chatham Borough after Hurricane and Tropical Storm Irene came through.

Chatham Patch took a ride along with the borough's Department of Public Works to survey the damage from Hurricane Irene.

The Passaic River overflowed its banks at Shepard Kollock Park and was a short distance from the playground. Trees were down all over town, along with live wires in the street.

Chatham Township was still deemed by police as too dangerous to drive or walk in. Police asked residents to stay in their homes on Sunday.
