Peach Princess to Appear at Farmers Market

Weekend events in Chatham, plus Golden Boys, running and biking and a look at historical tours in Morris County.

It's the first weekend of August, which means Mellick Farm's Peach Princess is scheduled to make her annual visit to the Chatham Borough Farmers Market. There's plenty else happening in the area too, from group exercise to historical tours, so take your pick of the best of the area.


When/Where: Friday, 6 p.m. at Lewis Morris Park, Morris Township
Why Go: You're looking for a little music and BBQ to go with your Shabbat.

Why Go: It's one of the most historic trials in a deeply historic town.

Why Go: Not only do you get a concert, you get a warm fuzzy feeling when you donate non-perishable goods.

Why Go: You want to eat fresh.

When/Where: Sunday, 5 p.m. at the Urban Farm at Lafayette, Morristown
