Municipal Budgets Up for Approval This Week

A look at what to expect from Chatham Patch this week.

Each Monday we welcome you back to the work week with a look at what to expect in the Chathams. From content you'll find on Patch as the week goes on to community activities, here's what you need to know this week:

1) You need to know about the borough budget: The Chatham Borough Council will vote on the 2013 municipal banked cap, along with an ordinance for the capital budget. Check back for the details.

2) You need to know about the township budget: Chatham Township's 2013 budget hearing is scheduled for Thursday. The proposed budget has a tax decrease of 3/10 of a cent. We'll have full coverage of the Thursday night meeting.

3) You need to know about the Chatham skate park: The township committee authorized volunteers from the township to raise money to repave the Chatham Skate Park. We'll have an update on their progress later this week.
