Flu Shots Available at Chatham Township Senior Center

Vaccinations for residents age 50 and older Wednesday.

Seasonal influenza immunizations will be administered to Chatham Township residents aged 50 and older from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Chatham Township Senior Center, 58 Meyersville Road, Chatham Township.

No appointments are necessary. Seniors with a Medicare Part B card are asked to bring it to the clinic. Wear short sleeves if possible.

The immunizations are provided by the Chatham Township Board of Health and the Madison Health Department. For more information call the Madison Health Department at 973-593-3079 ext. 9.

In Chatham Borough, a clinic is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at St. Patrick’s Parish Center, 41 Oliver Street.

"Since most influenza occurs from November through May, now is the best time to get a flu shot to insure full protection for the whole season," the department says.
