Families Feast on Fourth of July Picnic

Many gather at Central Middle School following parade.

The annual Fourth of July picnic kept the patriotic spirit alive behind the  Monday afternoon following the parade down Main Street. Hot dogs, beer and ample seating gave those who marched a welcome opportunity to cool off with some well-deserved refreshments.

The after-party was scheduled to continue until 1:30 p.m., when the area would then be cleared to begin preparations for the evening's display.
