Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center Van Trip up the Delaware River

The Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center has some great programs just for adults this holiday/winter season.  Need a break from the holidays?  Have you ever seen the majestic Bald Eagle in the wild?  Then join us for a van trip up the Delaware River into NY looking for these majestic creatures.   

The first scheduled departure is Wednesday, December 28.  We leave from the Great Swamp OEC in Chatham at 9 a.m. and we return around 5 p.m.  We travel up the Delaware River into PA & NY looking for bald eagles.  The cost is $35 per person and we ask that you bring a bag lunch – we’ll provide the hot cocoa!  This program is geared for people ages 16 & up.  We’ll have binoculars available to borrow and we’ll also have a spotting scope for an even better view of the eagles.
