Colony Pool Opens for the Season on Saturday

New features this year include Pickle Ball, basketball in the upper lot and a Teen Dock.

Colony Pool will open for the season on Saturday.

The pool will be open on weekends only until regular summer hours begin on June 21.

New features this year include Pickle Ball, basketball in the upper lot, a Teen Dock, where members ages 12 and up with a deep water badge can hang out, freshly painted buildings, a spruced up picnic area, including a Community Herb Garden, and enhancements to the snack bar. Colony is also bringing back the palm trees, as well as adding some new beach chairs. 

Younger children can continue to dig and build on the sandy beach, ride down the froggy slide or wade and paddle in the water.  The annual Fourth of July festivities and Sand Castle Contest will return, as well as the popular Family Float days.

Colony Recreation Center will continue the new social schedule with the popular Adult Social Evening, as well as the Family Fun Movie Night.  A new event will be a sizzling BBQ contest as well as a men’s game night. 

Fitness Boot Camp and Yoga will also return this year at 7 a.m. on weekdays.
