Chathamites Make Washington & Lee Dean's List

Dean's List requires a GPA of at least 3.4.

Washington and Lee University announced one student from the Chathams were named to their Dean's List for the 2012 spring semester.

Nicole Ross is a member of the class of 2015 at Washington and Lee University. She earned a grade point average of at least 3.4 in the spring semester.

Ross was also named to the university's Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester along with Brittany Ross, a member of the class of 2013.

Washington and Lee University is a private liberal arts college located in Lexington, VA. The original school was founded in 1749 as Augusta Academy, renamed Liberty Hall in 1776, moved to its present location in 1780 as Liberty Hall Academy. It was renamed in honor of George Washington, who gifted $20,000 to the university, and Robert E. Lee, who was its president after the Civil War in 1865 until his death in 1870.
