Chatham Natives Graduate from Miami University

Miami University of Ohio awarded 3,219 degrees to students at their spring commencement exercises on Saturday, May 5. Among those students were three natives of Chatham:

• David Allen Huke, who received a B.S. in Business degree;
• Anthony Frank Reel, whoreceived a B.S. in Kinesiology & Health degree; and
• Alexandra Beverly Hartman who received a Bachelor of Arts degree.

One other Miami University student from Chatham, Brian Kingsley Ballard, was named to Miami University's Dean's List for the 2012 spring semester.

Ballard also made the Dean's List in the fall 2011 semester, along with John Francis Armstrong, another Chatham native.

The Dean's List is reserved for Miami University students who achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average. Such students are named to the dean's list to recognize their academic performance.

Miami University is a public university located in Oxford, Ohio. The university offers more than 100 degree programs in humanities, science, engineering, business, education and fine arts.
